Objectives
Nic Ice Ltd are the largest manufacturer of ice cream cones in the UK and Europe.
Nic Ice faced a challenge in maintaining the gutters of their Barking premises, which require regular upkeep. To ensure the safety of the maintenance team, they turned to MCL for our expertise.
MCL conducted a thorough site survey and presented a formal proposal, complete with technical datasheets, for the installation of a Kee Line horizontal lifeline system. The maintenance team reviewed and approved the proposed solution, ensuring the safety and upkeep of the premises.

The solution offered a secure means of accessing the gutter line, ensuring that regular maintenance could be carried out safely. In addition, MCL provided comprehensive information to address any technical inquiries about this product, including details on its compliance with European and British standards, as well as visual examples from past projects. It is worth noting that Kee Line has been approved to meet EN795: 2012, CENTS 16415: 2013, ANSI 2359, and CSA 7259, providing reassurance to the customer of the stringent testing all Kee Safety products undergo. The installation was completed within two working days, causing minimal disruption to the client.
Result
The area can now be accessed by trained operatives to maintain the gutter.
