Rescue Course

Rescue training for working at height teaches individuals how to safely recover a person following a fall or incident. UK regulations require employers to have a rescue plan and trained personnel on site, as emergency services cannot be relied upon for rescue. The training covers rescue techniques, equipment use, casualty management and emergency planning, helping reduce risk and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The Work at Height Rescue Course is designed for personnel who already have training in working at height and using fall protection equipment. This comprehensive course equips participants with the skills needed to perform rescues of co-workers suspended by fall arrest equipment.   The theoretical training covers legislation, rescue procedures, suspension trauma, casualty management, and equipment inspections. The practical training includes rescue kit usage, anchor point selection, casualty lowering, and rescue planning to ensure a safe and effective response in emergency situations.

Completed IRATA Rope Access Level 1 with Claudia (and Carl for 1 day)

Great instructors, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The same can be said for all the other members of staff I met throughout the week.

Would definitely recommend it.
